Established the LEGO Group’s Procurement Centre of Excellence 2022

2019/20

​

  • Established the LEGO Group’s first Procurement Centre of Excellence (PCoE), a team focused on delivering procurement productivity by optimising processes, increasing compliance and developing best practice

  • Migrated four initial procurement processes to PCoE; supplier on-boarding, contract management, sourcing-as-a-service and tail spend management

  • Successes: Delivered 30% procurement process efficiencies (measured in cycle time) through centralisation to PCoE – benchmarked to be world class amongst other procurement organisations (Hackett).

  • Managing a team of 8 resources, based in 3 regions

  • Responsible for developing digital strategy and for all procurement technologies

  • Responsible for relationships with other functions including Digital, Legal, Business Support & Risk teams

  • Support with developing overall Procurement strategy alongside Procurement Leadership team
