Formulation & Execution of Marketing Technology Sourcing Strategy

Following a successful period of establishing procurement strategies in hardware & telecoms with IT stakeholders, was tasked with creating a category strategy for an area of spend not previously managed by IT procurement – Marketing & Digital technologies.

 

Category strategy approach included:

 

  • Conducting spend analysis of current supply base

  • Understanding the supplier market, trends and opportunities

  • Identifying stakeholders requirements

  • Creating plan of short, medium and long term projects

  • Seeking stakeholder approval to execute

  • Formulation & execution of global strategy spend strategy for hardware & telecoms – spend of c.£25m per annum

  • Responsible for process improvements for the global procurement team
